The RPM160 Pod Mod is a robust vape contained within a portable form. The body is noticeably thinner and taller in comparison to similar devices. It measures 125mm's by 45mm's by 28.2mm's and weighs just 120 grams. The main chassis is made from a lightweight zinc-alloy material while the ergonomics with its filleted lines sits very comfortably in the hand. While the front fascia comprises of a larger faux carbon panel, the layout is tidy and the audible buttons are both responsive and well placed for ease of use. The 0.96″ inch TFT display screen has a good layout and color scheme, and it's relatively easy to navigate. The battery door is located on the bottom and is hinged.The RPM160 Pod Mod takes dual 18650 batteries and can output an impressive 160 watts. The IQ-160 chipset boasts a lightning-fast firing speed of 0.001 seconds and can intelligently auto-detect the perfect wattage for your coils. It also does a fantastic job of optimizing your battery life.
As expected, the pod for the SMOK RPM160 is well formed and cleanly moulded from a slightly darkened PCTG, which can view the e-liquid levels clearly. It can hold a whopping 7.5ml of e juice. Furthermore, you can conveniently fill it without taking anything apart. With the refilling hole placed on the back, there is no need to remove the pod to refill, quite easy and convenient. The press-fit 0.15ohm NiCr mesh coils are a breeze to install but don’t seal very well. The flavor is great but maybe not so much better with one of the two massive airflow slots covered.
